We started working from a small workshop in Guildford, belonging to our grandfather in 1981. Servicing and repairing cars, first for family and friends, then soon growing to offer our services to a much wider audience. Now in 2025 we continue to uphold the same values we had when we started. Field's Car Centre was recommended to me by a friend.a) On my first visit they conducted an MOT.b) On a subsequent occasion they resolved an electric window problem which would only return halfway up.I have been pleased with both the work done and also the cost.I will use them again in future.c) In February 2026, I had a rear brake problem with my MK4 Golf, which Field's resolved quickly and cost effectively.d) My Polo Twist Automatic is now booked in for its MOT, March 2026.

We used Fields for my daughter’s car service and when mine needed repairs, I didn’t hesitate to contact Fields.Various works were carried out. I found the technicians to be very competent and the work has been carried out to a high standard.The front office guys were knowledgeable and kept me informed throughout the process. My vehicle was ready perfectly on time.Although my repairs proved expensive due to the cost of parts, I do believe the bill was fair.Will certainly be using them in the future.

I have taken all my cars over many, many years to Field's. They are a friendly team who provide an excellent service every time. As well as looking after my cars they've also provided advice when I'm buying a new car - after all, they've seen them all! Simply - I don't trust my car to anyone else.

Just had annual Service done, and as always, the whole team at Fields excelled, not only in their expertise with the car, but also in being the most friendly garage I've ever known, and in being the conveyors of the most trustworthy advice I've ever known. We have used Fields as a car maintenance centre for several of our family's cars, and always found them helpful, especially when you've got problems with a vehicle. They understand that large bills come as a shock, and with older cars, you need to decide whether it's worth repairing or not. Also, if you're a regular customer, they will accept a vehicle which has broken down and needs to be recovered somewhere. You will guess that as a family, we run several older cars!

Been using Field's for a few years now. What I like about them is they have a great front office. The send me reminders when servicing and MOTs are due. You can book online or call. They are very professional. They are competitively priced. Convenient location. Once you've found great service why go anywhere else.

i hade only used them for a MOT, but my normal garage no longer does my Clio car, so i spoke to Gary who made my life much easier, ,leave car late afternoon day before service, meant i could get bus home, .service done and even the spare wheel, replaced from boot, to its proper carrier, and the cost was not excessive ,well done. i will be back,
