After a bad experience with the RAC mobile diagnostic mechanic I found fields cars on Google and saw they where highly rated, they went above and beyond to help me get my car back on the road, my car had two potential problems and instead of just making me pay for both to be repaired they actually took the time to work out which one it was and even helped find the best price solution for it, extremely friendly easy to get hold off etc would highly recommend to anyone will definitely return here 10000%

Fantastic service , quoted me a price for the work and it actually cost me less because the job didn’t take as long , highly recommend this garage and I will return for future issues .

Field's Car Centre was recommended to me by a friend.a) On my first visit they conducted an MOT.b) On a subsequent occasion they resolved an electric window problem which would only return halfway up.I have been pleased with both the work done and also the cost.I will use them again in future.c) In February 2026, I had a rear brake problem with my MK4 Golf, which Field's resolved quickly and cost effectively.d) My Polo Twist Automatic is now booked in for its MOT, March 2026.e) Following ominous noises and the loss of coolant, Fields recently replaced the water pump; thermostat and leaking radiator; plus temperature gauge sensor ; cambelt covers and a gear linkage bush which has given my Golf a new lease of life!!f) Following another electric window problem (this tme on the Golf's Driver's window), VW were unable to supply the necessary replacement part. Gary however managed to track down the relevant part (I think from Europarts) and my 23 year old Golf is now fully operational again.

I have been using Fields for many years. The Team at Fields are always helpful, polite and will always update on what needs to be done. The pricing is fair. Service and MOT on the same day.

Field's were recommended to me by son who had used them number of times before moving away. I found them to be very helpful on the phone when booking the car in. I was able to drop it off the evening before.They quickly diagnosed the problem with my wife's car, told that the part need had to come from Vauxhall, and how long that would take. The car was repaired and ready when they said it would be and is now running. I would certainly recommend them.

I have used Fields Car Centre for a few years. I have had major work carried out on my vans as well as routine servicing. I cannot recommend Fields enough and if you aren't using them, you are missing out. Gary & Chris go out of their way to help and accomadate. All staff are very friendly and polite. Had a problem with my Audi. Diagnosed issue and gave a solution to the problem without any delay. Problem now resolved with addition of oil service.Service was excellent, very professional would highly recommend.

I would definitely recommend field car centre, they helped get me in when my first car had broke down and needed a whole new clutch, and was really helpful and kept me updated the whole way and didn’t do a single thing without confirming with me first! They also kindly fixed a few other things on my car for me out of kindness which I really appreciated! 100% go to fields car centre for any of you car needs!

Excellent service again from Fields. Took my car in with a light on the dashboard that kept coming in and off. It was diagnosed and sorted out - I was kept fully informed. Been using this garage for over 20 years! Highly recommend.

Field's Car Centre is always my first stop when any of our cars need attention/MOT or servicing. My daughter had a problem with terrible noises last week and she drove it into Field's and they diagnosed and repaired it within the day at a very reasonable cost and advised her before hand how much it would cost and you can always be assured that you will not be ripped off or mis-sold. Thanks to Gary and Chris for an excellent service, as always.
