I tried Fields following a number of positive comments on a local village Facebook group. I can now happily confirm those comments were accurate. Diagnosis was swift, parts were sourced and the problem rectified all in the same day. Very friendly and professional setup. I’ll definitely be using them from now on.

A gem of a garage! Helped us out on numerous occasions over the years at very short notice and very reasonable cost. Professional and friendly service. Very lucky to have Fields as our local garage!

The staff at Fields are attentive, caring and the service they provide is second to none.From dropping off my car to picking it up they made sure it all ran smoothy.Now I know why my husband speaks so highly of them…. You will not be disappointed!

Always a pleasant experience at Field's. Nice welcome, efficient service, always kept informed on progress and any additional work that might be required. I feel that the work performed is to a high standard at a reasonable price, and also advised on future work that might be needed. Highly recommend.

Have been taking my car to Fields for several years for Service and MOT they are always friendly and helpful. I had to take my car in to be checked out as hazard lights had come on. They were very thorough and kept me informed of what needed to be done.

Ford Focus bonnet wouldn't open.Another garage quoted me £700 for breaking front grill, labour costs, parts replacement, etc.Fields investigated, opened the bonnet, gave me a temporary work around all for £126. I will be going back to them for a proper fix which is estimated cost of £200. No breaking front grill, etc. Highly recommended.

Me and my partners go to garage. Very professional and friendly. Provides clear information on work that needs to be completed and keeps you informed. All work is completed to a high standard and reasonably priced.

Field’s has looked after my beloved Golf Mk5 for years now, ever since I lost confidence in the local VW dealership after some very poor service and sharp practice. Everyone I encounter at Field’s is friendly, professional and honest, and they frequently go above and beyond. I have no hesitation in recommending Field’s.

I had a problem with my car window getting stuck halfway. It was an easy fix so they didn't change me. Excellent non condescending service.

Have been using Fields for many years with all of the cars I have owned. Always a very friendly professional service guaranteed, kept fully informed of the works progress throughout the day, and always an excellent level of workmanship whatever they are doing. Cannot recommend the team here highly enough, and the new workshops are very smart! Works carried out - pads and discs. Very pleased as always.

I admire the honesty of the garage in that they told us we had failed the MOT but explained what needed to be done so as to pass the Test at the second attempt ....and at a reasonable cost to put matters right .

I have been using Field's for many years now, and continue to be impressed with their service. I'm sure you could find cheaper garages but their prices are always fair and the level of service you get is well worth the money. Every member of staff you interact with is professional and kind. For my last visit Gary did a wonderful job at keeping me up to date with the progress, they've very clear with their pricing and you never feel pressured at all into spending money. I would always recommend Field's to my friends

Field's Car Centre was recommended to me by a friend.a) On my first visit they conducted an MOT.b) On a subsequent occasion they resolved an electric window problem which would only return halfway up.I have been pleased with both the work done and also the cost.I will use them again in future.c) In February 2026, I had a rear brake problem with my MK4 Golf, which Field's resolved quickly and cost effectively.d) My Polo Twist Automatic is now booked in for its MOT, March 2026.
